English as your fun and everyday guide to the world

I hear – I forget, I speak – I learn, I use – I remember
(Gennady V. Oster) ... or:
you get acquainted with English by hearing it, but then you forget it,
you learn by speaking and English gets under your skin,
it is not till you use English actively that you remember it and find that it is always there to help you when you need it.

At Class, we want to give you the self-confidence to deal with every situation in life. We want English to become a part of you, not just a formal addition to your CV. You will leave our lessons ready for the world and you will enjoy using English.

To achieve this as quickly and effectively as possible

you will speak only in English so you get used to the language from the very beginning,
we use enjoyable and interesting activities – your pleasure from learning increases the results, you will practice speaking, active listening and asking questions so you will learn everything that you need and you won’t need to study at home,
you will talk all the time, so using English becomes natural to you at lessons,
the teachers take an individual approach to students – everybody learns in a different way at a different tempo, you have your own strong points and needs.

The following learning cycle is the key to your success:

  1. Discover it

A trained teacher will introduce a new word or grammar item in a simple conversation. The teacher will place it in a context which will help you understand. The teacher will not bore you with a long lecture, but will involve you actively in the lesson.

  2. Make it your own

A phase of intensive replies to the teacher’s questions. You will learn new skills and will be able to use them immediately without thinking. In this way, you avoid unnecessary translation and learning by heart. Simple correction methods guarantee that you don’t learn an incorrect form.

  3. Play with it

Enjoyable and interesting activities, games, situational conversations support the spontaneous use of new knowledge and intensify your connection with English.

  4. On your own

Practice your new skills in practical situations. In this phase the teacher only monitors your conversation so that you obtain the self-confidence and courage to use English outside the classroom.

  5. In control

You finish the cycle by practicing asking questions so that you always get what you want. Don’t forget, in real life you often need to ask questions.
